TO me the best artist isn't someone who can skillfully paint an apple or somebody who draws the perfect thick and thin lines. In my OWN opinion as my OWN artist; I think the greatest artist can be the worst artist. Someone who paints or draws for themselves; somebody who uses art to create a reality more than reality itself to create there own terms as what is "real". If drawing a little girl getting penetrated in a stabbed stomach is what your thinking of; DO IT. Its wrong? cry. Us artist shouldn't only speak our minds but physically visualize it. As Pablo Picasso said; "Painting is just another way of keeping a diary." Don't manipulate your own mentality if you only understand it because that just means this view isn't meant for you. (that doesn't mean its better- success is psychological) Most people will think your ridiculous and mock you but-fuck them. Fall in love with that hate- that hate is formed by misunderstanding: forming jealousy. That hate means your either trying to get attention or a damn good artist- also FYI- an artist doesn't need to pursue art as a career but can be an artist for the sake of art. Either way just wanted to summarize what I wanted to say because I'll have no more time to get on d.art for a while. Anyways- POWER TO THE ARTIST!
